Lee first came to Hawai'i in 1990 and fell in love with the beauty
of Hawai'i's
people, their aloha spirit, the gorgeous landscape, beautiful golf
courses and the warm Pacific waves. The easy, healthy lifestyle
also appealed to both Kenneth and his wife, Sandy. Twelve years later
in 2002, Kenneth, an attorney, left behind the California commutes,
the hectic pace, and the dealings with judges to change his life
and make Hawai'i his permanent home.
"I just knew I wanted to be here," he says. "I
like to be able to walk to find the best sushi in town!"
Kenneth Lee is a quietly intelligent professional, the kind of
person you can trust to be honest, diligent, careful and precise.
His life's work has been about helping people from all walks of
life. To do that really well, he believes in knowing his subject,
being patient and meticulous, and maintaining integrity.
This former math teacher, with degrees in sociology
and mathematics from the University of California at Berkeley
has
a long history
of knowing his facts. He spent many years teaching, in South Central
L.A. and Oakland - because he had a drive to support the underrepresented. "I
learned a lot about politics coming of age in Berkelely in the
1960's. It shaped my political thinking," he says.
Since then, Kenneth has been steadily exploring, learning and
challenging himself. Seeking to improve his skills with the goal
of helping others, Kenneth earned his way into Hasting College
of the Law in San Francisco on a scholarship and eventually opened
his own practice.

Still licensed to practice
law in California, he has decades of experience representing
Oakland and San Jose
area clients in everything
from immigration issues and estate law to commercial transactions. Having a legal background is extremely helpful, especially when
it comes
to reviewing purchase contracts, closing documents, and
analyzing legal issues related to property ownership...
"I
really enjoy going over contracts with clients to make sure
everything is just right," he says. Kenneth knows that
when it comes to examining contracts, precision matters. He moves
paperwork through like clockwork and enjoys combing through the
fine print. When you take the time to be thorough and detailed,
he observes, you always come out a winner.
And he should know: His law degree afforded him a prosperous career
in the Bay Area and enabled him to put his two children through
college - quite remarkable considering that his own parents lacked
formal education and emigrated from Korea when he was 16.
Kenneth's professional expertise covers many levels, from
contract negotiation to advising buyers and sellers about the
intricacies
of real estate. He is also a fully licensed broker
with broker-in-charge experience. This enables him to train and supervise agents in his
real estate firm located in scenic, historic Kailua-Kona.

One
of the things that he continues to love about Hawai'i is the
relaxed yet active, healthy lifestyle that is enjoyed in picturesque
surroundings. It lets him combine his legal expertise with his
life-long love of golf. He relishes the opportunity to showcase
West Hawai'i's well-appointed, beautifully situated golf properties
near the signature courses that he has come to know very well.
So whether it's a stylish townhouse, a condominium on the course
or a formal home along the fairway, Kenneth's professional, advocacy
approach can move you into a new, active and satisfying lifestyle.
As one of the few Realtors who is also a lawyer, he will take
you through the buying process step-by-step, happy to help you
all
along the way - right to the tee!

"Kenneth
Lee went above and beyond the call of duty when helping us
with our property purchases on the Big Island. He exemplifies
the spirit of aloha for which the Islands are famous. Before
meeting Kenneth, we'd worked with many different real estate
agents, both
in the United States and abroad. No other agent came close
to
Kenneth in terms of outstanding performance and superb effort."
